Lawyer Kpeli Worlase has indicated that, his 40 bags of cements were not rejected, as been reported on social media.
Speaking with Afram Plains Stories on Monday, August 28, 2023, he indicated that, he donated the cements to the Kwahu Afram Plains North District Assembly.
“Let your audience know that, I didn’t donate cement to Betty. I donated cements to the District Assembly and that have not returned my cements to me. They assured me that, they appreciated the effort and would make good use of it to get that work or all other works done” he stated.
Hon. Betty Krosbi Mensah (MP – Afram Plains North) is currently spearheading the construction of a permanent bridge on the Donkorkrom-Ademmra road.
The road caved in a week ago, leading to difficult in crossing to and from the District capital to other parts of the District.
It was rumoured that, Lawyer Kpeli Worlase donated 40 bags of cements as his contribution towards the project but got rejected, an incident the lawyer indicated was never true.
