The Kwahu Asabi Royal Foundation, a Non Profit Organization based in the Kwahu Afram Plains North District has visited the St. Mary’s Vocational Institute to do some presentations.
The Foundation, which is under the auspices of Nana Otukwa Mpareko VI (Chief of Kwahu Asabi, Amankwakrom), engaged students of the Vocational Institute on various mentorship programs, teenage reproductive education and went ahead to donate some menstrual materials.
The event, which took place on June 28, 2024 on the school premise, saw the Chief Executive Officer for the AIMOD Ventures, Aisha Modoc Acheampong attending as a guest.
Aisha, who is a native of the Kwahu Afram Plains North District, used her life story and experience, to motivate and encouraged the students to remain focused on their goals, learn hard and be confident in themselves in building a brighter future.
In appreciation, the students expressed their gratitude to the Foundation for their timely intervention and pledged to make good use of the knowledge they acquired, to better their lives.
The presentation is part of series of activities the Kwahu Asabi Royal Foundation is undertaking in the Kwahu Afram Plains to help improve Girl Child Education.
