Silinyi Kpedzi as it is affectionately called by the people is located at Kwaekese a farming community in the Kwahu Afram Plains North District with majority of the people being Ewes.
Majority of the people are peasant farmers and hunters.
According to history, the rocks were first identified by a hunter who went hunting, got tired and needed a place to rest.
Silinyi Kpedzi is believe to be housing wild animals such as;
1. Pythons
2. Lions
3. Chimpanzees among others.
The rock stretches from Kwaekese through Korangteng to Karachi in the Kwahu Afram Plains South District.
Apart from serving as a habitat for wild animals, the rock also serves as the foundation for big Baobab tress, a pond of water and a natural forest.
A visit to the place by the crew of @aframplainsstories revealed that, the place if developed will serve as on of the most patronised tourist sites in the country.
