Foso is a community in the Kwahu Afram Plains South District of the Eastern Region. The people are predominantly pepper farmers, with few others venturing into animal rearing. These farmers have in stock, bags of pepper but haven’t gotten buyers. Some, have lost their revenue due to the delay in selling their farm produce.
Despite leaving closer to the river, the farmers always had to rely on the rains to be able to farm. This, makes their work a bit tedious since an irrigation system would have make it a bit easier.
In a yet to be aired documentary, being put together by the THE CHURCH OF PENTECOST, DPM Events and Afram Plains Stories, the farmers expressed the sadness and called on the Government to come to their aid. According to some of them, their wards had to drop out of school because they were not able to sell their products to raise funds to support them.

If you are, or know any company that is into processing of pepper, kindly draw their attention to the fact that, bags of quality pepper are wasting away in the Kwahu Afram Plains South District. I can assure them of getting any quantity of bags of pepper they would need.
Attached are some pictures for your attention. Lets help these farmers to take care of their families. We can do it.
Thank you.
