CONCESSION NOTE

By: Issah Toha Shamsoo, National Coordinator Aspirant

Dear Colleague Teacher Trainees’,

I am writing to officially inform you that I have failed in my bid to be elected as the next National Coordinator of our Association, Teacher Trainees’ Association of Ghana (TTAG). I sincerely express my deepest gratitude to my family, Dr. Yussif Dokurugu (CEO - IGH), my campaign team, delegates, Efua Bedu-Hayfron (immediate past deputy General Secretary), fellow NEC members, and everyone who supported me in any way or form throughout the process. I remain deeply grateful for your kindness.

It was such a hectic journey and I have learnt a lot in the process.

Alhamdulillah (Thanks be to God), I accept the election results wholeheartedly and believe it represents the will of God and the delegates. Therefore, I have accepted responsibility of my defeat in good faith without any qualms, ill feelings or indulging in blame game.

After the declaration, I called to congratulate the winner of the contest on emerging victorious. I wish him and the new National Executive Council (NEC) the best of luck in their endeavors.

To the delegates who voted for me because they trusted in my abilities and competence to lead, I say another big thank you to you. May the Almighty God richly bless us all.

Notwithstanding the election results, I remain a loyal member of TTAG and would continue to contribute my quota to the progress of TTAG whenever possible.

Sincerely yours,
Issah Toha Shamsoo
(National Coordinator Aspirant)
