The comment came few days after a new calendar was circulating, indicating that basic schools are expected to vacate on April 6 instead of March 24 as indicated earlier.
The Ghana Education Service had earlier released a calendar, that indicated that, basic schools are supposed to vacate on March 24, 2023 for the first term of the 2023 academic year.
Basic schools are expected to vacate on March 24 and resume on April 2, 2023 for the second term for the 2023 academic year.
G.E.S was quick to also add that, the only clarification there is, is the BECE date which has finally been settled on 7th to 11th August 2023.
It is there directing all teachers, heads, directors and the general public to ignore any information in circulation that is contrary to the above.
