The Government of Ghana, on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 launched the performance tracker, a platform that is geared towards giving citizens the opportunity to follow and track projects being done by the Government in the Districts.
A check by Afram Plains Stories on the performance tracker revealed the following as projects the government has undertaken in the Kwahu Afram Plains South District. The report below contains details such as name, start date, date of completion (if applicable) and percentage of completion.
Office Building:
The project is construction of One Unit Office Complex for District Health Directorate at Tease. The construction was started in 2022 and currently at 90% completion. It falls under projects of the Ministry of Health.
CHPS:
Construction of CHPS Compound with 2 semi-detach nurses’ bungalow at Hwanyasu. The project is currently at 90% of completion and was started in 2022. It falls under projects of the Ministry of Health.
Factory:
Construction of pig and animal feed processing factory under the One District One Factory initiative. The project is said to be 100% complete and falls under projects of the Ministry of Trade and Industry.
CHPS:
Construction of CHPS Compound at Twerefo Faso. The project started and was 100% completed in 2022. It falls under projects of the Ministry of Health.
CHPS:
Construction of CHPS Compound at Mmradan. The project started and was 100% completed in 2020. It falls under projects of the Ministry of Health.
Warehouse:
Construction of Warehouse at Kwasi Fante and falls under the One District One Warehouse initiative by the Government. The project is currently 95% completed and falls under projects of Ministry of Food and Agriculture.
Rural Telephony Huawei Rural Star:
Rural Telephony – RTP in partnership with MTN and Huawei Site installed at Dedeso. The project started in 2017 and was 100% completed in 2019. It falls under projects of the Ministry of Communication and Digitalization.

Classroom Block:
Construction of 3-Unit Classroom Block at Tailorkorpe. The project started in 2022 and was 100% completed in 2023. It falls under projects of the Ministry of Education.
Classroom Block:
Construction of 4-storey, 24-Unit classroom block with toilets, science laboratories and ancillary external works at Maame Krobo. The project was 100% completed in 2017. It falls under projects of the Ministry of Education.
Rehabilitation of Roads:
Feeder rehabilitation of the Tease-Maame Krobo feeder roads. The project started in 2021 and is currently 30% completed. It falls under projects of Ministry of Local Government, Decentralisation and Rural Development.
District Hospital:
Construction of Agenda 111 District Hospital at Tease. The project, started in 2022 is currently 48% completed and is expected to be completed by the end of 2024. It falls under projects of the Ministry of Health.
